JAKARTA, June 12, 2026<\/strong> \u2013 The Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia (KJRI) in New York, together with vOffice InvestinAsia Group and the National Creative Economy Movement (GEKRAFS), signed a Letter of Intent at vOffice Centennial Tower, South Jakarta, on June 12, 2026, as an initial step to support the development of Indonesia Center New York<\/strong>, a platform designed to strengthen the promotion of Indonesian business, investment, creative economy, and culture in the United States.<\/p>\n

The signing of the Letter of Intent forms part of a broader effort to strengthen Indonesia\u2019s presence in one of the world\u2019s most influential economic and business hubs. Through this initiative, the parties aim to create a platform that brings together Indonesian businesses, international investors, creative communities, and various global stakeholders within an integrated ecosystem.<\/p>\n

Amid growing interest from Indonesian companies seeking to expand internationally and increasing attention from global investors toward Southeast Asia, Indonesia Center New York is expected to serve as a bridge that strengthens economic relations between Indonesia and the United States.<\/p>\n

\"Collaboration<\/p>\n

Consul General of the Republic of Indonesia in New York, Winanto Adi, stated that Indonesia possesses significant economic, cultural, and creative potential that should be showcased more comprehensively on the international stage.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis collaboration marks an important first step in strengthening Indonesia\u2019s presence in the United States through various programs that connect businesses, investors, creative communities, and the international public. We hope this synergy will support the realization of Indonesia Center New York as a platform that presents Indonesia more comprehensively while creating new opportunities for trade, investment, and economic cooperation,\u201d said Winanto Adi.<\/p>\n

Through this collaboration, KJRI New York will strengthen economic diplomacy and facilitate engagement with various stakeholders across the United States. GEKRAFS will promote Indonesia\u2019s creative economy in international markets, while vOffice InvestinAsia Group will contribute through its established ecosystem of business services, investment support, legal and licensing solutions, and business development expertise built over more than a decade.<\/p>\n
