JAKARTA, June 12, 2026 – The Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia (KJRI) in New York, together with vOffice InvestinAsia Group and the National Creative Economy Movement (GEKRAFS), signed a Letter of Intent at vOffice Centennial Tower, South Jakarta, on June 12, 2026, as an initial step to support the development of Indonesia Center New York, a platform designed to strengthen the promotion of Indonesian business, investment, creative economy, and culture in the United States.
The signing of the Letter of Intent forms part of a broader effort to strengthen Indonesia’s presence in one of the world’s most influential economic and business hubs. Through this initiative, the parties aim to create a platform that brings together Indonesian businesses, international investors, creative communities, and various global stakeholders within an integrated ecosystem.
Amid growing interest from Indonesian companies seeking to expand internationally and increasing attention from global investors toward Southeast Asia, Indonesia Center New York is expected to serve as a bridge that strengthens economic relations between Indonesia and the United States.

Consul General of the Republic of Indonesia in New York, Winanto Adi, stated that Indonesia possesses significant economic, cultural, and creative potential that should be showcased more comprehensively on the international stage.
“This collaboration marks an important first step in strengthening Indonesia’s presence in the United States through various programs that connect businesses, investors, creative communities, and the international public. We hope this synergy will support the realization of Indonesia Center New York as a platform that presents Indonesia more comprehensively while creating new opportunities for trade, investment, and economic cooperation,” said Winanto Adi.
Through this collaboration, KJRI New York will strengthen economic diplomacy and facilitate engagement with various stakeholders across the United States. GEKRAFS will promote Indonesia’s creative economy in international markets, while vOffice InvestinAsia Group will contribute through its established ecosystem of business services, investment support, legal and licensing solutions, and business development expertise built over more than a decade.
Erwin Arivianto Soerjadi, Director of vOffice InvestinAsia Group, said the company sees a growing need for platforms that help Indonesian businesses build global connections more effectively.
“New York is one of the most important business and investment centers in the world. Indonesia has many companies that are ready to expand internationally, but they still require broader access to business networks, investors, and global collaboration opportunities. Through Indonesia Center New York, we hope to help connect these opportunities within a more integrated ecosystem,” said Erwin.
vOffice InvestinAsia Group has supported business growth in Indonesia for more than 13 years and has served over 50,000 clients from various countries. Through a network of more than 40 locations across major cities, vOffice is recognized as one of Indonesia’s largest virtual office and coworking space providers, with the widest network of locations nationwide.
Through InvestinAsia, the group also assists foreign investors in establishing and expanding businesses in Indonesia while supporting Indonesian companies seeking to grow their operations in international markets.
GEKRAFS Chairman, Kawendra Lukistian, emphasized that strengthening Indonesia’s global exposure requires sustainable cross-sector collaboration.
“Indonesia possesses extraordinary creativity, culture, and talent. Through this collaboration, we hope more Indonesian creative economy players will gain access to international markets, expand their global networks, and introduce Indonesia’s finest works to the world,” said Kawendra.
Meanwhile, Sandiaga Uno, Advisory Committee Member of vOffice InvestinAsia Group and Chairman of the Advisory Board of GEKRAFS, highlighted the importance of creating more platforms that can effectively showcase Indonesia’s potential to the global community.
“Indonesia has tremendous potential as the largest economy in Southeast Asia and a member of the G20. However, this potential must be supported by a stronger presence on the global stage. Indonesia Center New York is expected to become a strategic platform for introducing Indonesia’s culture, products, talent, and investment opportunities to the world while strengthening Indonesia’s nation branding in a sustainable manner,” said Sandiaga Uno.
Going forward, the parties will explore various collaborative programs, including investment promotion, business matching, international business forums, networking events, creative economy development initiatives, and other activities aimed at strengthening economic relations between Indonesia and the United States.
Indonesia Center New York is designed as a platform that integrates cultural promotion, Indonesian product showcases, community development, and business expansion support for the U.S. market. This initiative is expected to serve as a catalyst for increased trade, investment, and economic cooperation between Indonesia and the United States, while creating broader opportunities for Indonesian businesses to compete in the global marketplace.
