The Investor KITAS is a visa created especially for foreign business investors in Indonesia that enables them to live and conduct business there.
Since the investor is not regarded as an employee, there is no necessity for monthly contributions to the DKP-TKA (Development Funds in Exchange of Hiring a Foreign Worker), which is the primary distinction between Investor KITAS and normal KITAS.

Foreigners who are the director or commissioner of a company in Indonesia must have made a minimum investment of IDR 1.1 billion to qualify for an investor KITAS. Investors must deposit a minimum of IDR 1.125 billion to get an investor KITAS Indonesia if they do not already own such titles in the company.
Your newly formed firm is qualified to support you for an investor KITAS after it receives a business registration number (Nomor Induk Berusaha - NIB) and business licenses (Izin Usaha).
You must also submit supporting records, including a letter of application that has been signed and firm registration paperwork, to be eligible for one. Please be aware that the company must employ at least two Indonesians for support
You need to invest a minimum of IDR 1,25 billion in company shares to be eligible for the Investor KITAS. In addition, an investor who is also a director of the company they wish to participate in is just required to contribute IDR 1 billion.
Upon getting the Nomor Induk Berusaha (NIB) and business licenses (Izin Usaha), if the business is freshly founded, it will be able to sponsor your Investment KITAS. You must use the Online Single Submission (OSS) to submit licensing applications for currently operational enterprises.
