Processing time:

  • 7-10 working days
  • After the e-Visa is issued, we will forward it your email and you can enter Indonesia accordingly. The e-Visa will be valid for 90 days for the you to enter Indonesia. Upon arrival the visa will be valid for 60 days.

Indonesia Tourist Visa Requirement

  • If you plan to apply by mail, including a pre-paid, postage-paid, and stamped return envelope. After processing your visa, the Embassy or Consulate will utilize the envelope to return your passport and supporting paperwork.

Processing time for tourist visas for Indonesia

The Embassy or Consulate will typically complete your tourist visa application in 3 to 5 business days. Nevertheless, depending on which Embassy or Consulate you apply to, the precise processing time may vary.

How long is a tourist visa for Indonesia?


An Indonesian tourist visa is valid for 30 days and allows for only one entrance. Before it expires, a tourist visa for Indonesia can be extended for an additional 30 days.


Indonesian Visas on Arrival are also extendable and have a 30-day single-entry validity period.


You must apply for an Indonesia multiple-entry visa if you plan to stay longer or visit Indonesia frequently. Both visitors and business travelers can obtain this kind of visa. You may stay in Indonesia for a maximum of 60 days with each entrance, and it is valid for a year.


Extension of the Indonesia Tourist Visa

  • Both the 30-day Indonesia Tourist Visa and the 30-day Indonesia Visa On Arrival may be extended. In Indonesia, you must submit an application for a visa extension at the immigration office seven days before the visa expires.
  • You cannot request an extension of stay if you are exempt from the need for a visa and enter Indonesia without one. Indonesia must be left before the 30-day period expires. If you don't, you'll have to pay an overstay cost when you leave that.

Can I Work in Indonesia with a Tourist Visa or a Visa on Arrival?

Both the Indonesia Tourist Visa and the Visa on Arrival are only valid for travel for pleasure, tourism, and amusement. You are not permitted to work for either of them. You must apply for an Indonesia Work Visa if you wish to work there.
